The real goal of Class 6

Nothing in Class 6 needs to be “topped”. The goal is transition: from one teacher to many, from workbooks to textbooks, from being reminded to remembering. A child who ends Class 6 with steady habits and zero fear of Maths and Science has had a perfect year.

What a good Class 6 year looks like

Reading fluency: 15 minutes of daily reading — any book counts, not just Poorvi
Maths without fear: Ganita Prakash is genuinely playful — solve the puzzles together before they become “homework”
Science curiosity: do the Curiosity activities at home; a fridge magnet and a ruler cover half the syllabus
Own-notes habit: even two lines per chapter in their own words — the skill that pays off till Class 12
A daily 5 minutes: one small quiz a day builds the practice reflex early
