How to apply for JEE Main
Register
On jeemain.nta.nic.in, complete “New Registration” with your name, DOB, email and mobile exactly as on your documents. Save the Application Number.
Fill the form
Enter personal, academic and exam-city preferences. You can apply for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) or both.
Upload documents
Upload your photo and signature in the exact dimensions and file size the bulletin lists.
Pay the fee
Pay online. The application is not submitted until payment succeeds.
Download the confirmation
Save and print the confirmation page for your records.

Common rejection reasons
Photo/signature not matching the specified format and mismatched name/DOB vs board records are the top reasons applications are rejected. Double-check before final submit.
