NEET UG 2026 Application Form — Step-by-Step

How to fill the NEET application form correctly, the documents you need, and the category-wise fee — so your form isn’t rejected for a small mistake.

How to apply for NEET

Register

Go to neet.nta.nic.in → “New Registration”. Enter your name, date of birth, email and mobile exactly as on your documents. You get an Application Number — save it.

Fill the application form

Log in with the Application Number and password. Enter personal, academic, category and exam-city preferences (choose 4 cities in order of preference).

Upload documents

Upload your photo, signature, postcard photo and any category/PwD certificates in the exact dimensions and file size the bulletin lists.

Pay the fee

Pay online (net-banking / UPI / card). The form is not submitted until payment succeeds.

Download the confirmation

Save and print the confirmation page. Keep it safe until admission is complete.

Documents checklist

Passport & postcard photo: Recent colour photo on white background, as per the bulletin’s size rules.
Signature: Signed in black ink on white paper, scanned.
Category certificate: OBC-NCL / SC / ST / EWS certificate if claiming reservation.
PwBD certificate: If applying under the Persons with Benchmark Disability category.
Class 10 & 12 details: Board, roll no., passing year.
